School supplies
It only takes about £40 to cover the cost of scholastic materials (books, pens/pencils, full uniform) for one primary school pupil for a whole year. It is very possible that we can keep so many less privileged children in school and hence, get the skills they need to become better and responsible citizens in their communities.
Education
In article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Right, adopted in 1948, proclaimed that everybody has the right education. As such, we, at NINA, genuinely believe that education is indeed a human right. We strongly believe that, for one to be able to develop not only themselves, but also those around them (whether in the same household or community), they need access to a decent education, they need to obtain the knowledge that is required to deal with the issues on which their day to day lives rely. As such, it is incumbent upon us to ensure that every child has a chance to obtain an education for the benefit of their households and their communities. Together, we can make it work.
